Astris, on the south coast of Thassos, is the place to be if you like your holidays full of sun, quiet and relaxation. Kalliopi's Houses sits in a big garden of olive trees, greenery and flowers, less than a kilometre from the sea.
It is an ideal base for touring the island: the sandy beaches of Psili Ammos, Salonikios and Notos are right nearby, and both sides of Thassos are within easy reach.
Families with small children love the large courtyard, and anyone who values privacy will appreciate that there are only four apartments, far from big, crowded complexes.

Two buildings, four identical apartments of 45 m², each with its own entrance, a large balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. From the first floor, the balcony looks out over the olive trees.
See the apartmentsOutside there is a huge garden planted with all kinds of trees, especially olive trees. Park your car in the shade, read a book or enjoy a glass of wine under the trees.

The houses stand at the edge of Astris, about 900 m (12 minutes on foot) from Astris beach and 1.9 km from Psili Ammos. Potos is about 10 minutes away by car and the port of Limenas about 55 minutes.

Astris beach is about 900 m away (12 minutes on foot) and Psili Ammos about 1.9 km.
By ferry, from two ports: Keramoti → Limenas takes about 40–45 minutes, with frequent crossings all day; Kavala → Skala Prinou takes about 1 hour 30–40 minutes, with fewer crossings a day. The closest is Kavala “Megas Alexandros” Airport, only about 12 km from the port of Keramoti, where the ferry to Limenas takes about 40–45 minutes. Alternatively, Thessaloniki “Makedonia” Airport has more flights and is about 2 hours 15 minutes by car from Keramoti.
To explore the island, yes, we recommend one, as buses are not very frequent. The petrol station right across the road rents cars. The beach, the mini market and the taverna are within walking distance, and there is also a KTEL bus stop very close by.
Mathios Market in Astris is a few minutes' walk away. There are large supermarkets in Potos, a few minutes' drive away.
